Sainte-Maxime Mobile Tyre Fitting & Repair
Parked along the seafront promenade looking across the bay to Saint-Tropez when you spot a flat by the port? Whether you have come off the A8 at exit 36 (Le Muy) and down the RD25, or you are crawling along the RD559, we bring the workshop to you. We run from Toulon, so for Sainte-Maxime please plan on a realistic 50 to 65 minutes.
What we do, right where you are
We repair tread punctures on the spot with a plug or internal patch and replace any tyre that is past saving where you are parked. Tyres come in pairs only — two, four or six — never a single tyre, to keep the axle even. We also fit fresh valves, reset TPMS sensors, balance wheels, mount your spare if you carry one and replace a flat car battery wherever you have stopped. We are a repair-and-replace service and never tow.
The area we cover around Sainte-Maxime
We cover Sainte-Maxime and the nearby towns of Saint-Tropez, Grimaud, Le Plan-de-la-Tour and Cogolin. We reach you via the A8 at exit 36 (Le Muy) and then the RD25, and along the RD559 round to Saint-Tropez, as well as around the port and seafront promenade.
How fast can we reach you?
Sainte-Maxime sits a fair way from our Toulon base, so realistically expect 50 to 65 minutes. We will not pretend it is 30 minutes — the gulf gets gridlocked in summer and that genuinely affects the time.
On the motorway? If you are on the A8 we cannot meet you on the hard shoulder — call 112 or use the orange SOS phone first, get behind the barrier, and we will come to exit 36 at Le Muy or the next aire once you are safe.
Local tip for Sainte-Maxime
The whole gulf jams solid in summer, and the heat plus sea-salt take their toll on tyres and valves. If you have been crawling in stop-start heat for an hour, give the tyres a few minutes and a pressure check before judging a slow leak.
Pricing & payment
We give you a clear price before we set off — no surprise surcharges. Pay by card on site, and ask for a VAT invoice for your travel-insurance claim. See our pricing page. Tyres are sold in pairs (2, 4 or 6).
Sainte-Maxime: your questions answered
Do you speak English?
Yes, and Dutch too. You will speak to real English-speaking staff, which helps when the gulf traffic already has you stressed. Call +33 9 72 16 29 07 and tell us where you are, for example by the port or on the promenade.
My hire car has no spare — can you still come?
Yes. Hire cars around the gulf normally carry just a sealant kit, no spare wheel, and that won't fix real damage. We come to you in Sainte-Maxime with matching replacement tyres and fit them on the spot.
Can you reach me on the A8 near Sainte-Maxime?
Not on the live carriageway — call 112 or use the orange roadside phone and get behind the barrier first. We will then meet you at exit 36 (Le Muy) or at the following aire before you turn down the RD25.
Do I need a repair or a replacement?
A simple tread puncture can usually be repaired where you are. If the sidewall is damaged — easily done on the busy gulf kerbs — it has to be replaced, and we fit tyres in pairs.
