A small puncture doesn't always mean a new tyre. If the damage is in the tread and caught in time, a proper repair is quick, affordable and gets you straight back on your way. We bring that repair to you, wherever you've stopped.
What causes a puncture
The usual culprits are nails, screws and sharp road debris that lodge in the tread. You might hear a rhythmic tap as you drive, see your pressure-monitoring light come on, or simply find a tyre soft when you return to the car. The important thing is to stop before the tyre runs flat, because driving on it is what turns a cheap repair into a forced replacement.
How we repair it
Once we've found the damage and confirmed it's repairable, we fix it properly on the spot:
- A plug for a clean, simple puncture in the tread.
- An internal patch β or a combined plug-and-patch β for a more thorough, durable repair.
- A new valve if yours is leaking, which is a common hidden cause of slow deflation.
- A TPMS reset and a quick balance check so everything is right before you drive off.
Repairable, or not?
We'll always tell you honestly which it is. A puncture is generally repairable when it sits in the tread, the hole is small, and the tyre hasn't been driven flat. It is not repairable when the damage is in the sidewall, when there's a bulge, or when the tyre has overheated from running flat β those need replacing for your safety. If a replacement is the right call, we fit new tyres there and then, in pairs across the axle as French practice requires β two, four or six, never a single tyre β so the car stays balanced.
Repair only β we never tow
We're a repair-and-replace service and we never tow. If your problem turns out not to be a tyre at all, we'll point you to 112 and your insurer rather than recover the car. For punctures and flat batteries, we sort it where you are.
Where we work and how long it takes
We cover the Lyon area and the Var coast, with the network growing. Times are honest and vary by distance: around 20 to 35 minutes close to Lyon and Toulon, and longer for the coastal resorts further out, up to an hour or more in peak summer. We never quote a flat "30 minutes everywhere", because it simply isn't realistic.
Caught out on a motorway?
We can't attend you on a live hard shoulder. Get to safety, call 112 or use the orange SOS phone, and we'll meet you at the next exit or aire.
