Mobile Tyre Fitting in Sarlat and the Périgord Noir
Exploring the medieval lanes around place de la Liberté and back to a flat, or winding along the D703 in the Dordogne valley towards Beynac when a tyre lets go? The garages here aren't always close, and the roads are narrow. A local partner technician near Sarlat can usually reach you in 30 to 50 minutes and fix it where you are.
What we do, right where you are
We carry out roadside puncture repairs by plug or patch where it's safe, and supply and fit new tyres in pairs (2, 4 or 6) when a tyre can't be saved. We also replace valves and TPMS sensors, balance wheels on site, fit a tyre to your spare, and check or jump-start a flat battery. We never tow.
The area we cover around Sarlat-la-Canéda
Your local partner serves Sarlat-la-Canéda, Vitrac, Carsac-Aillac, Proissans and La Roque-Gageac, working the D704 towards Souillac, the D703 along the Dordogne valley, the D6 towards Gourdon and the D57 towards Beynac.
How fast can we reach you?
Reach time is an honest 30 to 50 minutes, depending on where you are in the valley and the summer tourist traffic. It's a genuine local-partner range, not a fixed time we can't guarantee.
On the motorway? There's no motorway right at Sarlat, but if a tyre goes on the busier D704 or D703, pull well clear onto a verge, put your hazards on, and call 112 if you feel unsafe. We'll meet you at a safe lay-by rather than on a blind bend.
Local tip for Sarlat-la-Canéda
The cobbles and tight stone lanes of the cité médiévale are awkward for larger cars, and the winding valley roads to Beynac and La Roque-Gageac have unforgiving stone kerbs and verges. Take the bends steadily and watch for loose gravel washed onto the road after rain.
Pricing & payment
We give you a clear price before we set off — no surprise surcharges. Pay by card on site, and ask for a VAT invoice for your travel-insurance claim. See our pricing page. Tyres are sold in pairs (2, 4 or 6).
Sarlat-la-Canéda: your questions answered
Do you speak English?
Yes. The Périgord draws many English-speaking visitors, and your Sarlat local partner speaks English, so describing a flat near the cathédrale Saint-Sacerdos is easy.
It's a hire car with no spare. Can you help?
Yes. Plenty of cars in the Dordogne come with only a foam kit, so we bring the correct tyres to your roadside and fit them without needing a spare.
Do you cover the D703 valley road near Sarlat?
We do. The D703 along the Dordogne and the D704 towards Souillac are both on our partner's patch, along with the D57 towards Beynac.
Will you repair my tyre or replace it?
A nail in the tread we'll plug or patch. A sidewall gashed on a stone kerb in the old town or a valley verge can't be repaired safely, so that needs a fresh pair.
