Local tip for Bandol
The narrow, winding corniche roads make kerb strikes and sidewall damage common, and the summer heat punishes tyres that are already low. After a tight turn against a high kerb, check the sidewall for bulges before you carry on — a bulge means replace, not repair.

Will a kerbed tyre need replacing?
If you have only picked up a nail in the tread, we can usually repair it. But the bulges and cuts the corniche kerbs cause sit in the sidewall, which cannot be repaired safely — that means a replacement, fitted in a pair.
